The beginning of Davidson Show Goats
started September 1, 2001 as I attended my first goat sale. After
raising and showing sheep for nearly 40 years, I decided it was
time for a change and I purchased nine (9) young nannies from Terry
Miller of Dublin, Texas. From these nannies the number grew to our
present day 80 head of breeding nannies.
Our
goal is to produce a superior animal that possesses a combination
of width, depth, length, straightness, bone, style, soundness and
most of all the meat. I feel these qualities are necessary to win
in the show ring.
We
invite you to our farm to view the beginning of what we think the
Show Goat Business is all about.
